FAQ

About Studio/Sadiq

What is Studio Sadiq?

Studio Sadiq is an art platform for prints, originals, and the spaces where life happens. We work with private collectors, workplaces, and cultural settings; anywhere art can carry meaning.

Every piece supports mental health: 20% of all revenue is donated to MIND, a CBF-certified Dutch mental health charity.

Who is behind Studio Sadiq?

Studio Sadiq is founded by Florijn Vriend, a self-taught artist with a background in psychology and inclusive design. The platform was born from a personal story of loss and the desire to create something true, for her late mother, Annemieke Blokhorst, and for the people whose lives are shaped by mental health challenges.

What are the permanent collections?

Studio Sadiq is built around three founding collections:

Legacy Collection - paintings by Annemieke Blokhorst (1956–2013), Florijn's mother. Available as fine art prints and originals.

Confetti Collection - Florijn's digital works, made on iPad. Playful, colourful, available as fine art prints.

Drift Collection - works on paper in soft pastels. Quieter, slower, made in process.

These are the permanent practices of the studio. Future permanent collections may be added to inceease the impact of the studio.

Will more collections be added?

Yes. The three founding collections are permanent, but Studio Sadiq is a growing practice. New collections, including collaborations with other artists, makers, or estates, will be introduced as they emerge.

The aim is not volume but resonance: each addition has to belong.

Mental Health & Donations

Why is mental health part of Studio Sadiq?

Studio Sadiq was founded in memory of Florijn's mother, Annemieke Blokhorst, who lived with mental health challenges before her death in 2013. Mental health isn't an "issue" the platform supports as a separate cause: it's woven into why Studio Sadiq exists at all.

Why MIND specifically?

MIND (wijzijnmind.nl) is a CBF-certified Dutch mental health charity. CBF certification is the official Dutch standard for trustworthy charities, meaning they meet strict requirements around transparency, governance, and how donations are spent.

MIND works across mental health support, awareness, and suicide prevention, areas closely connected to the story behind Studio Sadiq.

How much is donated?

20% of all Studio Sadiq revenue is donated to MIND. This applies across the platform: prints, originals, organisational work, and any future programmes.

How often are donations made?

Donations are made annually, calculated on Studio Sadiq's total revenue from the calendar year.
Annual transfers are made in January for the previous year.

How is this reported?

Studio/Sadiq publishes a yearly impact statement each January, showing the total revenue and the donation amount transferred to MIND. The first impact statement will be published in January 2027.

For any questions about how donations are calculated or transferred, send an email to hello@studiosadiq.com.

Products & Editions

What formats and sizes are available?

Most works are available as fine art paper prints, framed prints, and canvas. Specific size options vary by collection and piece. Check each product page for what's available.

Are you looking for a specific format that is currently not listed? Please reach out via hello@studiosadiq.com.
We are happy to see what can be made possible.

Are the prints limited editions?

Studio Sadiq is built around founding collections that are permanently available: The Legacy, Confetti, and Drift Collection. These are open editions, produced individually upon order.

Limited edition prints will be introduced from time to time, often through specific collections or collaborations with other artists. When a work is part of a limited edition, this will be clearly marked on the product page with the edition size and number.

What paper and print quality do you use?

All prints are produced on archival fine art paper using high-quality giclée printing. Canvas prints use a museum-grade canvas with UV-resistant inks. Each piece is made to last.

Are the originals available for sale?

Selected originals from the Legacy Collection and Drift Collection are available on request. Please email hello@studiosadiq.com with your interest.

Can I see a print before ordering?

We don't currently offer physical samples, but we're happy to send additional images, scale references, or answer any questions about a specific piece. Just send a message to hello@studiosadiq.com

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, iDEAL, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Production & Shipping

How long does production take?

Each print is made to order. Production typically takes 1–2 working days, though in some cases it may take up to 5 working days.

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide, with availability varying slightly by product type. Fine art paper prints ship to most international destinations; canvas prints reach a slightly broader list of countries. If your country isn't shown at checkout, send a message to hello@studiosadiq.com. There is always a solution.

How long will my order take to arrive?

After production:

  • Netherlands: 2–4 working days
  • Rest of EU: 3–7 working days
  • UK, USA, Canada: 5–10 working days
  • Rest of world: 7–14 working days
How do I track my order?

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched.

Are customs duties included for international orders?

For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, and any associated fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check your local import regulations before ordering.

Returns, Damage & Issues

Can I return or exchange my order?

Because every print is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. This is in line with EU consumer law, which exempts custom-produced goods from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.

If you have any questions before ordering, about size, framing, or how a piece might look in your space, please send a message to hello@studiosadiq.com. Happy to help with any questions you might have.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your piece arrives damaged or defective, please inspect on arrival and email us within 14 days of receipt with photographs of the damage and the packaging. We'll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.

What if my package gets lost?

If your order doesn't arrive within the expected delivery window, please report it within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We'll investigate with our shipping partner and resolve it with you.

For Organisations

Do you work with companies, hotels, or care institutions?

Yes. Studio Sadiq works with organisations on art placements, narrative-led curation, cultural programming, speaking and workshops, and corporate gifting.

See our For Organisations page for the full picture, or email us to start a conversation.

How does art curation for an organisation work?

It starts with a conversation. We discuss your space, your people, the story you want to tell, your budget, and your timeline. From there we develop a curated selection: sometimes from Studio Sadiq's collections, often in collaboration with other artists to reach the most fitting offer.

The process is built around what your organisation actually needs, not a fixed package.

Do you only place Studio Sadiq's own art, or can I commission a custom piece?

We use Studio/Sadiq's collections where they fit, but many projects involve other artists, makers, and designers, often local to the project.

We can also commission custom pieces or curate entirely outside our own collections. The priority is always the right work for the right space.

Do you offer discounts for bulk or trade orders?

Yes. For organisations placing larger orders - hotels, workplaces, care institutions, or corporate gifting - we offer tailored pricing and a personal account.

The bigger the project, the more we can do together. Please visit our For Organisations page or send an email to hello@studiosadiq.com with your needs.
We can always schedule a call to meet online or in person to walk through what you

Can my organisation tell the story of Studio/Sadiq and can the MIND donation be reported as part of our ESG or social impact?

Yes to both. Working with Studio Sadiq comes with narrative material to share with your audience, and 20% of all our revenue is donated to MIND: a CBF-certified Dutch mental health charity.

That contribution can be communicated as part of your ESG or social impact reporting, and we'll provide documentation as needed.

Work with Florijn (Speaking & 1:1)

Does Florijn speak at events?

Yes. Florijn speaks at organisational events, conferences, and cultural settings on art, mental health, and workplace wellbeing.

Three core talks are available, plus tailored sessions on request. See the Work with Me page for formats and contexts.

What does a 1:1 session look like?

A free 30-minute intro call to see if there's fit, followed by single sessions or a series depending on what you need.

Sessions are available online or in person in Amsterdam, in English or Dutch. More on the Work with Me page.

Can my organisation sponsor sessions for employees?

Yes. Organisations can sponsor 1:1 sessions as part of an employee wellbeing programme, mental health support, or after a workplace event.

Send a message to hello@studiosadiq.com to discuss.

Are you open to collaborations with other artists or makers?

Yes. Studio Sadiq is built around a permanent core, but we're genuinely open to collaborations that resonate with the practice: limited edition releases, interpretations of existing collections, curated projects, or forms we haven't thought of yet.

Send an email with what you're thinking!
